This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn about the science behind pharmaceuticals, and understand the vital role pharmacists play in healthcare. Participants will engage in various activities, including laboratory activities, pharmacy simulations and guest lectures from professionals in a variety of specialty areas. You will also have the chance to learn about drug development, medication management, patient care, and the ethical considerations involved in the profession. The camp is perfect for high school or rising college students who are passionate about science, healthcare, and making a difference in people's lives through medicine. There may be a field trip to a local pharmacy or hospital.Drop off: 8:30am to 9:00 am Programming: 9 am to 3:30 pmPick up: 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm Cost: $400, limited number of partial scholarships available (if yes to below questions, cost is $100) Meals not included, please pack and a lunch and snack.
